Jeffery Gilroy, MD - Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Gilroy is a board-certified in radiation oncologist and Diplomate for the American Board of Radiology.  His areas of expertise includes high dose-rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, 3-D treatment planning, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Image-guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) as well as Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT).

Prior to joining the Northern Arizona Tumor Institute, Dr. Gilroy served as a radiation oncologist at Coastal Radiation Oncology in San Luis Obispo, CA, where he was active in community-based programs focusing on cancer care including serving as a Cancer Liaison for the American Cancer Society, participating in weekly Tumor Board meetings and lecturing extensively to local support groups and other groups within the community. He also served as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Missouri Cancer Care at St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles, MO.

Dr. Gilroy received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine, in 1999 and completed his Internship in 2000 at Creighton University in Omaha, NE before moving to Florida where he completed his Residency at the University of Florida, Department of Radiation Oncology, in 2004.

Dr. Gilroy is an active member in major national organizations including the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Board of Radiology.
